Travel Theme: Shadows

My mother just found a tube of breath spray in her cabinet that expired in 2002. . .
Anyhuey, this week’s venture into the photographic wilderness of Ailsa’s travel blogging network is shadows. Easily the most difficult I’ve encountered, since I tend to crop shadows out of my shot, and I’ve never shot shadows on purpose. Given all that as I zoomed through the archives, I was expecting to come up goose egg on this one. . . until I remembered this:
carved window

According to the Huntington Library’s facebook page–when I asked–this is a leak window, hand crafted using wire mesh covered with plaster. Each decorative pattern is said to be different. . . just like these blogs; aren’t you happy to be getting just one photo this time?

;o)
