Poetry Tuesdays: Trees

I’m sure most of you reading this are familiar with the Joyce Kilmer poem that starts:
“I THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.”
But it takes the genius of an Ogden Nash to turn it on its head:
“I think that I shall never see
a billboard lovely as a tree.
Perhaps, unless the billboards fall,
I’ll never see a tree at all.”
