Poetry Tuesday: Double Welsh

Roland Jones (1909-1962)

FOAM
The Sea-god, when he walked the beach, shared out
The hems of his silk surplice
To break as a thread of silver
On the cold bed of the rocks.

David Emrys James (1891-1952)

HORIZON
Look, a mirage, like a round rim, a strange
Wizard’s masterpiece about us:
An old line that’s not there,
A boundary that never ends.
