Poetry Tuesday: What Her Friend Said

By Kollan Arici, somewhere between 50 and 300AD, part of a much longer gathering of works basically known as the Classical Tamil Anthologies.

the tender branches of the flower-clustered tree
with leaves like peacock feet
let fall
their blue-sapphire flowers.
