Last week we took the steps up to Catalina’s most famous monument, which reminded me of the Alhambra from the outside, but inside felt more like the Rialto Bridge in Venice. Maybe the cooling and rather stiff breeze had something to do with it. . .
When you’re a rich guy who can afford baseball teams and islands, you get buildings like this made for you when you’re gone. Part of the Botanical Gardens on Catalina, it’s what you get to see once you’re done with all the cactus, so I did the same thing with this blog. . . see how it all works out symmetrically?
